Age limit: The age limit for Principal job for AP model school should be between 35 to 50 years as on July 1, 2012. The age limit for PGT and TGT recruitments for AP model school should be 18 and above and should be below 39 years as on July 1, 2012. For BC/SC/ST the maximum age limit is 44 years and 49 years for physically challenged candidates.

( 1 ) School Assistants:-
 School Assistant (Mathematics):-
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics as the main subject OR one of the three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree with Mathematics as a methodology subject provided that he has studied Mathematics at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Physical Sciences) :-Must posses a BachelorsDegree with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary subject and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Science as a methodology subject. Provided that he has studied Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Biological Science) :-Must posses a Bachelors Degree with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as subsidiary subject or any two of other allied subjects viz. and a B.Ed. Degree with Biological Science, Natural Sciences as a methodology subject, provided that he has studied Botany and Zoology at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Urdu) :- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Urdu as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or a Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language with Urdu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduate Degree in Urdu and B.Ed with Urdu as methodology or Urdu Pandit Training or equivalent.

Application fees: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- for Teachers Recruitment Test for each post towards application processing through APOnline or e-Seva Centres from 16.02.2012 and 16.03.2012.

AP DSC 2012 Syllabus

A.P DSC 2012 :   More changes in the A.P DSC syllabus  ( Psychology ,Mathematics ,  Physical Sciences , Biological Science ,  Social Studies  B. Com with any )  and examination papers.


This A.P DSC 2012 Examination in 80 marks will be given to answer 160 questions as against 100 marks to reply 200 questions last time.
This DSC Examination system is applicable to SGT, School Assistants, Language Pundits and Municipal School Teachers’ posts. This is to be effected as 20 percent marks were allotted to teachers’ eligibility test.
With this change the new syllabus allotted to TET will be removed from DSC. Meanwhile state-wide stir began to protest against the TET system.

No. 4) dated 9th January, 2012 received an order by Government to invite job applications by http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in/ for the recruitment to the posts of School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits, Physical Education Teachers in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad Schools from 16th February to 17th March, 2012. Applications are invited for the Schools under the control of the Tribal Welfare Department and Municipalities in the State through District Selection Committee through apdsc.cgg.gov.in 2012.

AP DSC 2012 Written Test Schedule (TRT):

DSC 2012 exam date is scheduled from 2nd May, 2012 for Secondary Graduate Teacher (All Media) from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. Language Pundit (All Media) and Physical Education Teacher (All Media) written tests are also scheduled on 2nd May, 2012 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM respectively for apdsc.cgg.gov.in recruitment 2012.

School Assistant, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science and Social Studies (All Media) written test of DSC 2012 recruitment is scheduled on 3rd May, 2012 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates are asked to appear in DSC exam 2012 for School Assistant (Languages like English, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu & other Languages) on 3rd May, 2012 from 2PM to 4:30 PM.

DSC written test 2012 for Secondary Grade Teacher, Language Pandit in schools for Blind/Deaf and Dumb (Special Schools) is scheduled on 4th May, 2012 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. Physical Education Teacher (Special Schools) DSC 2012 exam too is scheduled on 4th May, 2012 from 10AM to 1 PM. School Assistant Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies in schools for Blind/Deaf and Dumb (Special Schools) written test for DSC recruitment 2012 is confirmed on 4th May, 2012 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.

AP DSC 2012 Recruitment Procedure:

AP DSC 2012 recruitment procedure will follow the selection process consisting of written test and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of total 100 marks out of which 80% shall be for the written test (TRT) and remaining 20% for APTET score for all the posts, except Physical Education Teacher for apdsc.cgg.gov.in 2012. Merit list for Physical Education Teacher will be prepared on the basis of 100 marks for the written test only.

AP DSC 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for apdsc.cgg.gov.in 2012:

Applicants must have APTET (Paper-I) Pass Certificate/ Memorandum of marks in respect of SGT to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in recruitment. They should have APTET (Paper–II with any optional subject) Pass Certificate/ Memorandum of marks in respect of School Assistant and Language Pandit to apply for DSC 2012 along with 60% and above score for General, 50% and above for B. C. and 40% and above for SC/ST candidates to apply online for DSC recruitment.

Post-wise Qualifications for DSC 2012:

School Assistant (Mathematics):

Applicants must have degree of bachelor with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics in main subject or three equal optional subjects and a B. Ed. degree with Math as a methodology subject to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in recruitment 2012.

School Assistant (Physical Sciences):

Candidates should have bachelor degree with at least 2 subjects as optional subjects – Physics/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics and Instrumentation/Electronics/Computer Science and Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medical Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Geology or either Physics/its allied subjects or Chemistry/its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary/ancillary subject and B. Ed. degree with Physical Science/Physics/Chemistry/Science as methodology subject to apply for DSC recruitment 2012.

School Assistant (Biological Science):

Applicants must have a degree of Bachelor with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the 2 as main and other as subsidiary subject or any 2 of other allied subjects and a B. Age Limit for apdsc.cgg.gov.in 2012:

Age of applicants must be minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 1st July, 2012 to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in Teacher recruitment 2012. SC/ST/BC candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. PWD candidates will get relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit.

apdsc.cgg.gov.in Hall Ticket:

DSC hall ticket will be made available to download from apdsc.cgg.gov.in for written test. Eligible candidates can download apdsc.cgg.gov.in hall ticket to appear in written test to become Teachers in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Each candidate must carry apdsc.cgg.gov.in hall ticket during the written examination.

A.P DSC 2012 :   More changes in the A.P DSC syllabus  ( Psychology ,Mathematics ,  Physical Sciences , Biological Science ,  Social Studies  B. Com with any )  and examination papers.

This A.P DSC 2012 Examination in 80 marks will be given to answer 160 questions as against 100 marks to reply 200 questions last time.
This DSC Examination system is applicable to SGT, School Assistants, Language Pundits and Municipal School Teachers’ posts. This is to be effected as 20 percent marks were allotted to teachers’ eligibility test.
With this change the new syllabus allotted to TET will be removed from DSC. Meanwhile state-wide stir began to protest against the TET system.

2. English (Present syllabus up to Intermediate standard of Andhra Pradesh State).

( 1 ) School Assistants:-
 School Assistant (Mathematics):-
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics as the main subject OR one of the three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree with Mathematics as a methodology subject provided that he has studied Mathematics at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Physical Sciences) :-Must posses a BachelorsDegree with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary subject and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Science as a methodology subject. Provided that he has studied Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Biological Science) :-Must posses a Bachelors Degree with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as subsidiary subject or any two of other allied subjects viz. and a B.Ed. Degree with Biological Science, Natural Sciences as a methodology subject, provided that he has studied Botany and Zoology at Intermediate level.

 School Assistant (Social Studies) :- Must posses a Bachelors Degree with any two of the following subjects as optional or one of them as a main and any other one as a subsidiary subject – (i) History (ii) Economics (iii) Geography (iv) Political Science (v) Public Administration (vi) Sociology (vii) Commerce (viii) Politics (ix) Social Anthropology (x) Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology (xi) Anthropology (xii) Social Work (xiii) Philosophy and (xiv) Psychology.

B. Com with any four of the following six subjects: (i) Economics, Business Economics (ii) Business Organization and Management (iii) Statistics, Business Statistics, Quantitative Techniques (iv) Financial Services, Banking and Insurance (v) Accountancy, Financial Accounting (vi) Fundamentals of Information Technology and B.Ed. (g) School Assistant (Hindi) :- Academic qualifications :-  Must posses Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the full elective subject or Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) or Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA degree Standard) or Post Graduate Degree in Hindi and along with any one of the following training qualifications.

 School Assistant (Urdu) :- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Urdu as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or a Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language with Urdu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduate Degree in Urdu and B.Ed with Urdu as methodology or Urdu Pandit Training or equivalent.
